For my kids and inspired by my little poet...Perri Moore.

The Rain and Tear song rhyme.

Rain falls and so does the tears...
both will fall upon you, all of your years.
During the good times and even the bad...
both will fall, just try to be glad.

During the light and also during the dark...
but will come upon you and then it will depart.
Not always sure when it will start or when it will end..
but be sure it will be back to start all over again.

It does not matter if you're old or even how young...
when it's your time, you will hear the rain and tear song being sung.
Whether the song is heard aloud or just your own heart's hymn..
Always remember to feel it and smile until the songs ends.

Yes drops will fall and then more it seems at times...
The rain and tears music will soon be heard as your own heart's wind chime.
Be not afraid of the rain or the tears that may fall....
when its all done, they both will wash us all.

All seasons begin and all seasons must end......
but the rain and tear song will soon be heard again.
Embrace them now, no matter where you might be...
let the sound of the rain and tear song, set your heart free.
