According to Shawn, his first day of school was terrible ... devastating ... awful ... and caused great trauma ... all thanks to his parents who made him go.In his defense, I would not have made him stay if I could do that over. Back then we didn't have 'preschool' classes .. kids went from being home all day right in to kindergarten and I've learned that some kids aren't ready to start school at age 5 regardless of what the state says!
